CHECKLIST: HOW TO CREATE CONSISTENCY IN YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA

• Have your photo and bio be the same on each of your platforms.
• Make sure your elevator pitch is clearly stated in your bio.
• ALWAYS have a call to action in your bio directing your followers to your website.
• Make sure you are using helpful apps to grow your Instagram. (TUNE BACK IN FOR THE NEXT BLOG POST)
• If you’re talking to everybody, you’re talking to nobody! Therefore, focus on 3-5 themes or core topics that define your brand, and only showcase social media visuals that relate to those. The more you simplify your focus, the easiest a consistent social media page will become.
• Get your followers involved: create a sense of community. If you’d like to work with brands (get paid to post on Instagram), engagement is key.
• Make it appealing to the eyes...and consistent! If you’re growing your IG as a blog/business, you need a professional looking feed. You want to make sure your photo theme, colors and edited tools are consistent and also reflect your blog or website. It is not unauthentic to have a consistent feed.  Much like a brand, you are selling yourself, idea, product.  There’s no difference between you and a company except that you have a personal touch always.  Use that advantage!
